Doncaster CCG (Care Commissioning Group) and DBTHFT (Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust) DO NOT support the long-term prescribing (greater than 3 months) of opioids or the use of high dose opioids (higher than 120mg/daily of morphine or equivalent) for non-cancer, chronic pain in adults.
If you are an Opioid user, one of our clinical staff may need to review your medications and manage you off this medication. Please do not suddenly stop taking your medication until you have spoken with a clinician about it.
